Mayor Marie L. Guingona, organized a Project Tindog Team composed of the following personnel Mr. John Venice L. Ladaga – CMO-ACGDH-1 as the supervising in-charge of the program, Mr. Epifanio C. Zarate, CPDO/SCALA, as the team leader, Mr. Edmar C. Pabia, CSWDO, Mr. Noel B. Albacete Jr., CMO, Mr. Donal Calingin, CDRRMO, Mr. Aljun L. Burlat, SCALA are all members of the team.

In line with the Project Tindog Program. Mayor Marie Guingona, issued Executive Order # 02 S. 2014 establishing “Project Tindog” in every barangay for responsive and vigilant participation in times of emergency, natural calamity and during disorders, crimes and other purposes.

The Project Tindog Team actively holding the information & campaign drive as well as holding forum to the 79 barangays in the city for the implementation of the project. It is a mandatory order in the

Executive Order that every household in the barangays will hang the Bagting as conceptualized through bamboo or kawayan.
The concept of the Project Tindog is a collective approach and ideas coming from the NGO’s, P.O’s, Military, Religious Group and Government sectors. The Project Tindog means that the barangays and the constituents of Gingoog are ready to uphold and defend the maintenance of the Kahapsay & Kalinaw even in the absence of the military. We will be vigilance and prepared in times of insurgency and occurrence of any forms calamities and we are ready for an immediate response in the various forms of emergencies.

The three (3) co-equal important program are part of her eight point agenda or vision of Our City, Our Pride, Gingoog Tatak Serbisyo, Tatak Guingona.

The Best Decorative Bagting Design competition will be launched soon for the city to be participated by all barangays in the rural, coastal and urban as well.
